Fiber to the home,Nepal telecom has started

Nepal Telecom has started the fiber to the home service.I it has made the target to the people living in the urban area and has started for the kathmandu .It is impleted to the places in Kathmandu like Jamal , Kamaladi , DarbarMarg ,Kathmandu Plaza areas now. the use of the traditional copper wire is being replaced with the high data transferring capacity ,called as optical fiber.With the use of the optical fiber we can get the high bandwith and high sped also.the optical fiber can carry high internet bandwith,voice clearity increases and we can use multimedia or telivision . But television service through the cable will be provided near future.
Outside the valley the FTTH service is being established in Biratnagar, Bhairava , birjang, Pokhara, Bharatpur.
