Course description:
This course is designed to impart knowledge on introductory computer, hardware components, internet, intranet,
email, distributed systems and multimedia. It also provides skills on word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation
tools.
Course objectives:
After the completion of this course students will be able to:
1. Understand computer system, its hardware and software
2. Use of computers in their daily to solve the problem
3. Explain the internet, intranet and email
4. Understand the multimedia and applications
5. Protect their computer by using antivirus software etc.
6. Perform applications software such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools
