CHAPTER 7: RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
7.1 Further Enhancement
Our project has very huge scope of enhancement. Some of the recommendation we can give for its enhancement are as follows:
Present location of the vehicle can be displayed using latitude and longitude value from GPS receiver and a reference latitude and longitude database in the SD card
Accident detecting efficiency can be increased using other parameters like acceleration measurement, touch sense etc.
7.2 Conclusion
From the observation and calculations, we got the result that the distance can be calculated with 99.68% accuracy and tilt with 96.24% accuracy. This brings with the following conclusions:
· We conclude that the distance has been measured with the accuracy of 99.68%. So, the system can be used to calculate distance travelled by vehicles and hence fare.
· Similarly the tilt measurement was also properly used for accident detection as it had only 3.76% error.
As a whole a complete system was made which successfully received the latitude and longitude value, stored in SD card, calculated distance and displayed on LCD. In addition to this, accident detecting feature was successfully installed using tilt measurement and proper connection was made with server to transfer accident information and new rate of fare.
